The mission of The Galveston Community Band is to provide a fun and relaxed forum for musicians of all capabilities; to enjoy the congress and camaraderie of fellow musicians of diverse backgrounds, who will, in turn, present their gift of music to the community with the intent to contribute to a congenial music climate, and to inspire the love of music in Galveston County and beyond.

Many thanks for the generosity of the staff and members of First Baptist Church who so graciously allow us to invade their campus every Thursday! Rehearsals start at 7:00pm in the chapel.
